These clips seem to come off fairly often if you\'re not really careful when adjusting the depth of cut. It\'s a snap to replace one when it does come off - provided that (a) you can find the clip on the floor (hard to see) or (b) you have another on hand. I\'ve tried to find other E-clips that work, but it\'s apparently a Bosch-peculia
... Read morer part, so I ordered four to be sure I always have a spare on hand.
I used needle nose pliers and a small flat blade screwdriver to:
1. Place the spring and cap on the back of the lever.
2. I replaced the retaining ring on the end of the fine adjustment rod.
