Unscrewed the metal plate from the original foot, removed original foot, installed new foot, reattached base plate. Job took about 3 minutes, only required phillips screwdriver.
It was a fairly easy and straightforward replacement once I figured out how to remove the foot. That was not intuitive. But by going online to a Bosch forum I was able to get the info I needed and proceed with the repair.
The parts from ereplacementparts fit perfectly, shipped quickly, and were very fairly priced.
