Remove the battery. Remove the screws from the housing an separate it. Carefully remove the old gearbox from the tool, then install the new gearbox, making sure that the gears mesh with the motor pinion. Then assemble the housings and your done

Remove battery. Separate housings. Note or take a picture of where all of the internal parts are located. Remove defective gearbox from motor, then install new one. Assemble in reverse order.
