It is a genuine manufacturer-sourced replacement air cleaner which is specially produced for use with Troy-Bilt trimmers. The purpose of this component is to ensure that the air which is supplied to the engine is free of dust and other harmful contaminants. Over time the filter gets dirty and clogged eventually requiring replacement to ensure the proper air flow. This is a complete assembly which consists of a durable black plastic housing with a high-quality air cleaner element and it is sold individually.
