It was missing the small screw from the split boom coupler.
1. Took off the old split boom coupler
2. Put on the new split boom coupler on the upper part of the trimmer where the old one was.
3. Used a Phillip head screwdriver to tighten the small screw, that was needed to hold the split boom coupler in place.
Simple, removed two screws, removed old part, attached new part, installed two screws, and I was back to work!
