It was very easy to figure out online what parts I needed. Actually bought extra Flange Lock Nuts as I didn\'t realize that they came with the axle assembly but it was no big deal. Borrowed a socket wrench from my son and the rest was a piece a cake. For around $35 including tax and shipping my lawn mower is like new. Used it yesterday!!

Removed old axle assemble by snapping it out of the plastic bracket. The screwdriver helped spread the bracket for easy removal. The new assembly then easily snapped into place. Wheels were then moved from the broken axle to the new one using a 9/16-inch socket. Washer-like spacers were provided for each wheel with the new axle, and they were used and fit perfectly.

With the machine sitting on the ground, loosened the wheel nuts. I set the machine on three gallon buckets one under the front and one under each side in front of the rear wheels. Remove the wheels and 4 bolts (2 each side) holding the axle assembly to the deck. Remove the axle assembly from under deck. Install new one in reverse order.
