This air filter is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is compatible with several models of edgers made by Troy-Bilt. This air filter allows air to pass through it, removing harmful contaminants. It is sold individually, and it should be replaced if it is beyond the point of being able to clean. To replace this part: -Remove the spark plug ignition wire -Open the air filter cover by pressing the tap on the side -Remove the air filter element and replace with the new filter -Close the air cleaner cover -Reattach the spark plug ignition wire

Remove the old air filter cover and remove and replace the air filer and replace the air filter cover. Remove the old spark plug and gap the new one at 0.025 and install it. Runs great now.
