1. Remove 6 T-25 Torx drive screws to separate the two halves of the gear housing. There is a smaller screw in the center of the housing. Do not remove this screw.
2. Carefully remove the screws and top half of the housing
3. Remove the upper gear, bearing and flexible shaft. You\'ll have to pull the flexible shaft down through the outer shaft housing. Keep the inside of the gear housing and grease clean
4. Remove the flexible shaft from the bearing and gear
5. Insert the new flexible shaft through the bearing into the center of the gear
6. Slide the flexible shaft up through the outer shaft housing and reseat the bearing in the correct slot, and the gear into the correct slot. Line gear teeth up so that the gears interlock properly
7. Add grease as necessary
8. Replace the top gear housing and fasten with the 6 Torx drive screws
