Motor stopped working. Plug connection and circuit breaker OK. After removing switch cover, could start motor by manually depressing switch mechanism but switch would not stay engaged.

1. Unplugged saw.
2. Removed old switch cover with screwdriver.
3. Made a drawing of the wires and terminal connections in switch box.
4. Pulled wires off terminals with needle-nosed pliers.
5. Unscrewed old switch box from machine.
6. Unscrewed plastic devices surrounding the ports where the wires entered an d left the switch box.
7. Pulled the old switch box free from the wires.
8. Installed new switch following steps 1-7 in reverse order. Note that the some terminals were in locations different from old switch.

It would not start

Unplugged the machine
Took the cover off
Removed the brace from the bottom of the switch
Removed the wires, one at a time and made note of each position
Unsnapped the grommets holding the wires and removed the switch box
Reinstalled the new switch box in reverse order
Attached wires in the correct places
Replaced cover
Plugged saw up and started it

Remove front cover front switch and either take a picture or make a wiring diagram. Disconnect wires from old switch and remove switch from saw. Mount the back of the new switch to the saw, and run the wires thru it. Connect them like the wiring diagram, then place the front of the switch on.

Disconnected power to table saw.
Removed old controls.
Installed new controls.
Energized saw.
Depressed start switch.
Voila...

Remove the front cover of the switch, and make a wiring diagram.
Disconnect the wires from the switch
Remove the back of the switch, pull wires through
Attach the the back of the new switch and pull the wires through
Connect the wires to the switch
Install the front cover
