Removed jointer from base,turned upside down
Removed ball crank bolt,and the pin that the ball crank fits on
Slide in feed table off base
Removed broken part,installed new part
Reverse steps

Infeed bed would not adjust

Refer to diagrams in Jet manual. Removed fence and cutter guard. Removed belt guard. Removed belt from motor. Unbolted jointer bed from base. Careful, it\'s heavy! Turned bed over on a work surface to access underneath. Removed crank wheel. Tap roll pin out of long adjustment screw using hammer. Removed long adjustment screw. Re moved bolt holding ball crank. You need a 1 1/16\" socket for this - not common in many socket sets. Removed and replaced ball crank. Reverse all steps to reassemble. Before reassembling it a good time to clean, oil, and wax surfaces. Repair would take less than an hour without cleaning.

Ball crank broke due to depth stop safety not being disengaged

Removed fence
Remove v belt
Loosen jointer from the stand
Remove the infeed crank
Remove broken part...1 bolt

Replace part and reassemble
Check height and squareness of the infeed and outfeed tables to TDC of blade.

Removed jointer from stand, flipped over, removed the crank wheel and the crank screw. Remove the bolt holding ball crank. Install is reverse of disassembly.
