Feed shaft was worn and set ring was cracked

Remove all of the part opposite the feed shaft. Replace in the correct position with the quill. I replace the handles also. Remove screw securing set ring, remove it and replace it with the new one.

Feed handle broke at collar during transporting

Parts Used:

1. Rolled deck up to 2ö below drill chuck
2. Places a short 2 x 4 block between deck and chuck
3. Removed double nuts from shaft
4. Carefully remove the spring cup and spring
5. Carefully taped the broken shaft out until it could be removed by hand
6. Installed new shaft
7. Reinstalled spring with cap and first nut to shaft
8. Using needle noise pliers to control and tension spring in counterclockwise direction to create recoil when releasing drill handle
9. Tighten nut to keep spring cap on tab
10. Reinstall locking nut and tighten the two nuts
