Hard to imagine but when the blade was sat in the bowl at an angle it immediately became wedged in the bowl and was impossible to remove. One second and the bowl and blade were both ruined. The blade is EXTREMELY sharp and extreme care around that is paramount. It was a difficult decision: replace the bowl and blade or the entire machine.
... Read more I chose to replace the parts. I saw on Amazon a review where this happened to someone else. Very unfortunate but expensive lesson learned!
