How do I change the lightbulb?
Bill For model number QP4 - November 3, 2023

Hi Bill, Thank you for your question. According to your owner's manual, your range hood came with a suction cup tool that can be used to remove or install the bulb if you find the procedure difficult. To remove the bulb, turn it counter-clockwise and pull it out. To install the bulb, align the pins on the bulb with the large diameter opening on the socket, then push the bulb in towards the hood and rotate clockwise until it is firmly seated. If you need to change the depth of the bulb sockets, remove the bottom pan and then remove the 2 light panel screws and the light panel and set them aside. Then loosen the 2 screws holding the lamp socket bracket to the light panel. Then adjust the socket/bracket to the desired depth and re-tighten the screws. Then re-attach the light panel and the bottom pan. We hope this helps!

Halogen light burned out on stove hood

Used the suction tool attached to the old bulb to push in and twist old lamp which was flat in the hood. Attached the suction tool to the new lamp/bulb, pushed in and turned once in the proper holes - harder than that sounds.Thank goodness the suction tool was included with the 48$ light bulbs. Online YouTube instructions but better ones in my manual. Larger suction tool for sale online was expensive, didn\'t need it. Got two, ready for the other to burn out. Grateful for the availability of these special bulbs.
