Cover for water container difficult to turn to open/close

Installed new rubber seal with new cover. The old plastic cover appears to have warped over time. The rubber seal looked good compared to the new one but there was an obvious difference with the plastic cover piece.

Massive water leak from cap

1) Turn of unit and Remove tank
2) Flip tank over
3) Remove cap
4) Place new cap with gasket on hole and twist until it stops firmly
5) Flip tank over
6) Verify that there is no more leaking
7) Place tank on base and turn the unit back on
