This is a genuine Coleman replacement part used with lanterns. This part fits onto the end of the burner; the flame escapes from the burner through the cap and screen. The mantle fits around the cap and screen and is heated by the flame, producing bright glowing light. Each package includes one end cap and one screen.

Took the lantern carefully apart. Removed the burner assembly. Carefully removed the old generator. Gently blew out the burner assembly. Replaced the generator and reassembled the burner assembly. The mantle fell off and started melting my burner cap.
1. Removed the handle from the top of the lantern.
2. Removed the screw from the top.
3. Removed the glass globe.
4. Removed the burner cap.
5. Installed the new cap and tied the new mantle to the new burner cap and torched the new mantle to get it burnt down before lighting the lantern.
