This is an original Bostitch replacement part. The compression spring is designed by the manufacturer for use in pneumatic nailers. This part is made of metal, and is generally used to provide tension to the feed piston in the nose assembly. You may require an Allen wrench and pliers when replacing this item. This part is sold individually.

Several of the springs were replaced by using a nail punch to remove retainer pins.
Two of the springs required the use of internal snap ring pliers .
All the springs were easy to replace.
