This is an original Bostitch replacement part manufactured for use with air compressors. This cast metal head covers the valve plate. It is recommended to replace the gaskets when servicing the head or valve plate, the gaskets are available separately. This cylinder head is sold individually.

Removed pipe from elbow, removed elbow, Then removed head bolts, removed the cracked head. Installed the new gaskets, new head and filter. Then replaced the elbow and pipe.
This is a Bostitch portable air compressor. Saw it sitting by the road for trash pick up. Took it home, saw the head and elbow were cracked off. The unit probably tipped over and broke .
