1. I had to unscrew disassemble the housing.
2. I unplugged and removed the burn out motor.
3. I connected the new motor to it.
4. I replaced the old melted housing with a new one inhad ordered.
5. I assembled everything back together.

Grass wrapped around the bearing & shaft locking them and the heat warped the motor housing.
Just remove the screws, remove the grass, lubricate the bearing and replace the motor housing. For a few bucks and in a few minutes you\'re back in business,
