1.with large flat blade screwdriver separate the old upper tube from bottom section, push plastic
tab down and using a twisting motion pry the two parts apart. You will need to work both sides to release the tabs then pull tubes apart.

Leaf Blower/Vacuum Tube would not stay attached motor part
1. I removed the damaged vacuum adapter and broken lower vac tube from the blower.
2. I installed the new vacuum adapter and new lower vac tube onto the blower.
3. I connected the new vacuum adapter to the blower.
4. Then I connected the new lower vac tube to the vacuum adapter using my hands.
