Blower bag developed a hole, Fan blades wore down due to small pebbles

1. Replaced the bag.
2. Used a 3/4 inch socket to remove the fan shaft end cap, turning the wrench clockwise, because the model is LH4500 (left hand tightening) and a set of locking pliers to prevent the fan from turning.
3. Removed the old worn-out fan blade.
4. Installed the new fan blade, insuring the flat sides of th e shaft line up with the flat sides in the new blade hole.
5. Re-installed the fan shaft end cap, turning it counter-clockwise to tighten it because the model is LH4500 (left hand tightening).

Got the part # for the replacement fan and ordered through ereplacementparts.com.
New fan shipped the same day and I received it 2 days later. A simple unscrew, remove, replace and tighten up had my Leaf Hog running like new again.

Broken parts

Removed the broken grill, then the LH nut , then the fan. I push the new fan back on, then tightened the nut, and replace the broken grill. Then simply put the tubes together

Locked the fan in place turned the nut clock wise, removed the old fan, inserted the new fan onto the shaft, locked the fan in place, applied the nut and tightened the nut turning the nut counter clock wise !!!
