Original Guard Assembly warped due to years of frequent use. .

1. Removed the battery from the trimmer.
2. Used a medium-tipped Phillips screw driver to remove the guard assembly retaining screw
from the trimmer motor housing.
3. Used a flat-head screw driver to depress the plastic retainer clip (located next to the screw).
4. Removed the guard assembly.
5. Insta lled new guard assembly (make sure that the plastic retainer clip snaps into place and
the Phillips head screw hole is aligned).

Remove old cover and install new. One screw. Couldn\'t be easier, perfect fit. Old cover lasted about 10 years. Great price - perfect fit - very fast delivery. Thank you ereplacementparts.

1. Removed the old screw holding the broken Guard Assembly.
2. Removed the broken assembly.
3.. Slid on the new Guard Assembly until it clicked in place.
4. Secured the assembly with the included screw.
5.. Attached the Edge Guide.

Whole process took about 5 minutes.
