Super easy, E replacements online video walked me though it. The repair it showed was different than mine, but the disassembly steps showed me how to take apart the gun in order to diagnose the issue.

First nailer (Brad) - slipped on the nose cushion (5 sec).
Second nailer (Finish) - placed retaining ring on retainer pin (5 sec).

Both repairs prevented me from having to buy new nail guns, or having to spend money to have someone else repair them. Cheap, in-expensive, and exetremely helpful.

Thanks

After reinstalling the pin in the trigger, simply pushing on the retaining ring did the trick. Easy to do but the mystery is why the retaining ring would simply fall out. I have two other nail guns and bought a couple of extra retaining rings... just in case.
