It is a genuine manufacturer approved replacement part designed for use with Bostitch nailers and staplers. This gasket provides an air-tight seal for the end cap. Over time gaskets tend to get compressed and crack eventually requiring replacement. It is made from high quality composite material and it is sold individually.
Removed the three screws from the cracked end cap, then the gasket. Cleaned the area where the gasket sits, then placed the gasket and end cap in place and tightened the three screws that hold them on the end of the stapler. Easy
Remove the screws holding the cracked end cap to the gun, remove the end cap and gasket. Make sure the housing is clean where the gasket is placed. Place the gasket on the housing and then carefully place the end cap on. Then attach it with the screws.
Removed the three screws attaching the cracked end cap to the gun, removed the old gasket and cleaned the area. Installed the new gasket and the new end cap with the three screws.
