Disassemble the gun and take pictures when you do this. Lay out all of the parts you remove and match them with the parts in the rebuild kit and install the new parts. Grease and oil the inside. I have a nail gun that I repainted, after letting the paint dry, I then sprayed the area with rubbing alcohol, wiping with paper towels, then applying the new labels. Piece of cake
