Took case apart and replaced gear. Cleaned grease out and put new grease on gear.

1. Remove handle & safety guard
2. Separate housing
3. Remove bottom cover of gear housing
4. Remove blade assy
5. Remove gear
6. Insert new gear and add grease
7. Reassemble blade to gear housing
8. Replace gear housing cover
9. Reassemble housing, safety guard, and handle

Hedge trimmer blade would not move(oscillate),

Removed all screws holding hedge trimmer casing together,(T-15 Torx)
Removed 4 screws holding cover over gear assembly.
Removed 5/16 nut holding gear assembly & blade together.
Removed a set of gears to get at & remove the broken gear.
Replaced the broken gear with new gear.
Assembled in reverse order.
Checked out system & the blade operated properly.
