One durable metal spring with a container is included. Check the diagrams for your model to ensure the proper repair procedure. A screwdriver might be needed to replace this part.

When starting chain saw cord pulled out and would not rewind. Took section apart and found plastic gear was broken and the spring was totally unwound.
