... Read morehe new seal installed this is the easy part. The other half of the seal needs to be installed into the back side of the impeller this is not the easiest to do. Make sure all the corrosion is removed and a slight radius on the edge. Apply a small amount of lube to the pocket in the back side of the impeller the seat the rubber seal and ceramic disc also apply a small amount of lube on the seal surface for the dry start up.
