The unit is a Honda WX-10 pump. Replacing the seals required the disassembly of the pump cover, removal of the impeller and the motor from the suction base. The removal of the motor can be a pain as the 4 bolts holding them together become corroded chance of breaking them is inevitable. Once separated the base seal may be pushed out and t he new seal installed this is the easy part. The other half of the seal needs to be installed into the back side of the impeller this is not the easiest to do. Make sure all the corrosion is removed and a slight radius on the edge. Apply a small amount of lube to the pocket in the back side of the impeller the seat the rubber seal and ceramic disc also apply a small amount of lube on the seal surface for the dry start up.
