This is a genuine Ridgid sandpaper, not an aftermarket equivalent. It is supplied by original equipment manufacturer for use with a 1/4" sheet sander. It is generally used to smooth surfaces like wood to remove splinters and rough textures. This is a standard clamping sandpaper that is sold individually. Replacing this sandpaper is very easy without any tools. • Make sure to unplug the sander • Holding the front paper clamp open, insert the end approximately 1/4" under the clamp • Release the paper clamp to secure the sandpaper • Insert the other end under the rear paper clamp • Apply downward pressure to conform sandpaper to platen • Multiple sheets of sandpaper can be installed at one time for convenience
