I removed timing cover by removing the one star head screw. Removed broken belt, placed new timing belt over drive spindle and started it over belt spindle by hand, then rotated belt spindle by hand until timing belt was seated completely. Finished by replacing timing belt cover and screw. The whole process took about 10 minutes. Sander n ow works like new again.
