This is a genuine OEM replacement part designed for use with Ridgid flip top portable work support. The purpose of the lever is to secure the tube in position. It is made out of plastic and it is sold individually.
Put the height adjust lock lever on the bolt. Next I put on the washer and spring, followed by the clamp lock lever. Tightened the screw holding the lock lever in place and that was it.
