The old nylon sprayer valve was wearing out. The new metal one is excellent.

It is NOT a paint sprayer. It is for a herbicide sprayer.

I removed a hose clamp from the old spray wand assembly. I used side cutter pliers to cut the old tubing to make a clean end, then inserted it onto the end pipe of the wand assembly. The threaded parts were hand-tightened. There were no leaks with the new assembly. The new valve is more sensitive to touch, but it works better than the old.
