I do handyman jobs for a friend of the mother-in-law. She had a riding mower that she said wasn\'t cutting... Pulled the blades, they looked horrific. Ordered new blades from eReplacementparts.com.
1: I jacked up the mower with the floor jack.
2: Placed jack stands under the mower deck.
3: Put new blades in place, be careful to align spline with cutout on blades.
4: Tightened the nut with a ratchet.
5: Used block of wood to wedge blade against mower deck to make sure bolt was tight.
6: Lift mower, remove jack stands, lower mower.
7: Start mower, engage blades, make sure there is no wobble (this would be caused by loose blade, or blade not properly seated on spline).
8: Go MOW!!! Watch out for rocks!!!!
