Snow Blower auger bearing (non-drive end)

Screw drivers, Socket set, Wrench (Adjustable), Wrench set
Parts Used:
2176100SM, 2121175SM
1. Remove chain drive cover
2. Remove sprocket and chain from auger shaft. (Requires loosening of the chain
adjustment)
3. Unbolt the bearing mounting bolts and remove drive end bearing assembly
4. Unbolt non-drive end bearing flanges and remove auger
5. Grease bearing, auger shaft, and bearing flanges
6 Put bearing assembly back on non-drive end of auger
7. Put auger back and install the drive-end bearing assembly after applying grease.
8 Tighten all bearing bolts and install sprocket and chain. Before tightening the set screw
on the sprocket, be sure the auger is shifted to the drive end and the sprocket is against
the bearing. 9. Adjust change chain slack.
10. Install chain guard.

Machine was making a lot of noise and vibration with auger engaged. Removed chain cover and chain. Took the chain apart and sprocket off. Took off the bearing flange\'s both sides. Cleaned and them re greased with clean grease. Reassembled.Tested the machine and it worked Great!
