100 to 135 setting and was supposed to be 90 to 120. It actually has a 45 psi off to on range as well.

Removed the old setup. removed the allen plug from the old and installed in the new.
Clean and prepare all threads on gauges, tank etc.
identify and rill a 5/8\" hole on the side plate. Expand the hole large enough to accept the cable clamp for the supply wiring.
Install the switch on the tank. install gauges and pres sure release. reconnect the wiring to the motor. Install the wiring clamp in the new hole and install the supply wiring.
Install the cover on the switch and turn the position to on. manually stop the compressor at 125 psi. This is the maximum rating for the tank this switch was supposed to be for.
made several adjustments to the pressure setting so it eventually kicked on at 80 psi and 125 psi. This proved to be a long process due to having to remove the cover each time to make the adjustment and reinstall to turn the compressor back on with bleed steps in between.

Safety valve spring weakened and was causing compressor to come on and not shut off because the cut-out was now way beyond, and the machine went on until valve pushed shut, even after lowering the cut

First I had to un-plug the compressor, Tie the hose to something so it can\'t hurt anyone (me), put an open fitting in the quick chuck, hold tight until high pressure has died down, and bleed ALL air from the tank. Next remove old pressure relief valve and clean old sealant from compressor safety valve port, then using Harvey\'s gold labe l pipe sealant, put a little on the matching parts about to be assembled, being careful to keep anything from becoming clogged, carefully start threads together, tighten to probably 10 to 15 lb/ft. Actuate valve once using ring and release immediately. After checking oil level in crankcase, plug machine back in, wait for shutoff, then set cut-out appropriately for shop needs.
