This is a Genuine OEM sourced replacement part designed for Penn Reels. It fits inside of spool tension control cap. It helps to distribute the pressure evenly and provides a tight seal for the connecting pieces inside the reel. It is made out of Metal and it is Sold Individually. Replacing this washer you don't need any special tools. Simply unscrew the tension control cap an replace the washer.

2. Cleaned all moving parts.
3. Relubed all moving parts with lithium spray grease.
4. Reassembled and, Replaced missing parts.

Cap came loose and lost all items

put spring in, then steel washer then rubber washer, then screw cap on. book says (2) steel washers, but all my other reels have 1x in them.

spool cap was lost

Put 2 rubber bushings and 1 ss busing in the cap
Put spring inside the cap
Screwed cap onto threaded piece and adjusted tension on the spool.
