I disassembled the reel for cleaning and found broken parts. Ordered the parts from the site and received them within a week and reassembled the reel. I found videos of repairing a Penn 209 that is over 50 years old and Penn has exploded drawings with part names and numbers.

Installing new drag washers and dog spring on Penn Senator 113H 4/0 reel is covered on several youtube videos better than I could explain. Not complicated if you don\'t have large beefy fingers, but I still got through it successfully
As for ereplacementparts.com, they are awesome! Great online site is super easy to look up illustra tions and part numbers. Orders ship very quickly, same day depending on time of order, and product and shipping cost are economical. I needed information about parts applicability and called erepairparts. Got great help quickly from very knowledgeable rep. This is where I will always go from now on for parts I need for just about anything.

1. Disassembled reel leaving Drag lever in place
2. Cleaned entire reel Careful when disassembling to keep washers in correct sequence
3. Reassembled leaving enough room under cover plate to slip dog spring in. Not easy, needs patience\'s. Used dental tool to slip spring in place
4. would not recommend replacing this sp ring if you are not comfortable with very small mechanical repairs and have the proper tools
