Take reel apart on a clean piece of cardboard or paper so you don\'t lose any of the small parts.
Use your reel parts diagram to make sure you put it back together properly.
Clean dirt and grime from reel as repairing.
Lubricate lightly with reel oil
With quality reels well over $100 it is worth the trouble but ta kes some time and a lot of patience if you haven\'t done it before.
