Remove the cover
Remove broken shield
Install Spring into side plate
Install push button and all the parts in
put the cover back in.

1 This spring is small and can get away very quickly.
2 For this reason I ordered 4, we found the original after
4 hours of looking.
3 Take your time when installing, this is the difference
between fishing with your reel in the boat or at home
in the rack.
