Removed screw on bail, removed bearings, spacer and bushing. installed all parts in order removed. one small drop of oil on bearings and wiped off excess.Good to go. Quiet again.

Bad bearings caused the line roller to move side to side which made the line wind incorrectly which shortens your cast

1. Get out the parts diagram
2. Disassemble the line roller
3. Clean the baIL
4. Follow th e diagram to assemble new parts

One thing I did wrong was the roller is wider on one side of the line guide make sure to put it in the way it came off or it will no wind the line correctly. After I fixed that it casted like new! Thanks for having all of the parts and getting them to me so quickly.
