... Read moreonly has one screw. You will now be able to get to the cap that holds the paw into the level wind. Remove the cap and the pawl is exposed. You may have to move the reel handle or tap in it. The pawl comes out and put the new one in turn it until it goes all the way in. Replace the cap just barely beyond finger tight. And reassemble the rest. It\'s really simple maybe 3 minutes. There are some really great YouTube videos. Look at YouTube for directions on replacing the shaft. I have a piece of heavy cardboard with finish nails poked through and super glued in place. I also drew a simple reel and poked holes so I could put the screws back in the proper place. As you take parts off slide them down on the finish nails. I get one of my wife\'s good white towels and work on top of it. That way if you drop something it doesn\'t bounce and it\'s easy to find. remember!!!! YouTube is your friend!
