The star drag fits between the star drag spring and the star drag click plate. It is a genuine OEM sourced part which is specially designed for use with Shimano curado baitcast reels. This item is available as an individual replacement part. A screwdriver and a set of pliers might be necessary during the installation of this item. It is made out of plastic and will need to be replaced if it breaks.
