This is an original part from Husqvarna for use with Chainsaws. The clutch cover assembly fits over and covers the clutch. This part is sold individually. The most common reasons for replacing the clutch cover is if the clutch cover is melted or cracked and unable to tighten the chain. Here is a list of tools that are needed to replace the clutch cover are a chain adjustment tool (Scrench) or ratchet/socket/wrench set, flat-blade screwdriver and a long-handled screwdriver.

My Husqvarna chain saw was binding up and the blade would not rotate
1. I determined the motor itself was fine by removing the side cover and bar/blade and running the chainsaw.
2. I removed the old side cover which appeared to have excessive wear in a few areas.
3. I put on the bar and chain and fitted the new cover in place.

Removed 2 holding nuts on the clutch cover and removed from chain saw. Placed new clutch cover on chain saw and tightened the 2 holding nuts. Job finished.

Chain brake wouldn\'t disengage and wouldn\'t line up with clutch cover
I simply removed the old hand guard and clutch cover and replaced them with the new parts. Everything lined up perfectly and reassembly was a breeze. Now my chainsaw is as good as new. I am a very satisfied customer!
