- Pull steam knob
- Pull control Knob
- Remove 4 long screws (2 on very top and 2 on the bottom of the top bezel)
- Pull top of coffee maker off
- remove the 4 bolts holding part (Allen Wrench)

- carefully pull assembly up to get clearance
- replace part
Re-assembled coffee maker in the reverse order.
I know very simplistic instructions BUT not an easy repair and I didn\'t document the steps so I could clearly write them out for this review.
had to remove 4 screws to open the machine, then another 10 screws, 4 of them hexagonal, replace the part and then re assemble
not complicated at all, and now I have my machine 100% operational
