This is an original DeWalt replacement part manufactured for use with reciprocating saws. The motor housing includes both halves and is molded to fasten the handle. This housing is sold as an individual replacement part.
Took the clamshell and motor housing apart. Disconnected the trigger from motor housing. Unscrewed the guard bracket and slid the cover off. Unscrewed the motor housing. Slid housing off and put on new parts in reverse order. Works like new.
