Need help finding your model number?This genuine Coleman replacement part is designed for use with kerosene lanterns and plays a vital role in the preheating process. Made from durable brass, this one-piece cup fits securely around the generator, just above the nut, and helps raise the temperature of the kerosene to ensure proper combustion. Because kerosene requires a higher ignition temperature than other fuels, the cup must be preheated before lighting the lantern. To do this, simply fill the cup with alcohol, ignite it, and allow it to burn until nearly empty. This heats the cup and generator, allowing the kerosene to vaporize properly for ignition. For best results, use the specially designed alcohol filling bottle (part #201-5511), sold separately. This preheat cup is sold individually.
