This plastic part is genuine OEM and is used in various DeWALT and Black & Decker edgers. This is a two (2) part handle. Each half attaches together with Torx T20 head screws. It houses a trigger switch, power cord, and protector cord at one end and an upper tube at the other end. The black auxiliary handle (sold separately) is attached to top front of this orange handle. Sold individually.

Split handle halves. Removed wiring harness and trigger assembly from old handle. Replaced in new handle screwed halves back together. Very simple repair. Everything fit well. Only comment is that the factory tightened the screws down very tight and they were a little difficult to break lose.

The main plastic handle broke where the secondary handle was attached.
Removed 6 screws, separated the sides of the handle exposing the switch and wiring harness. Observed mounting of switch and how wiring was arranged in the half handle. Threw old handle away. Cleaned dust off wiring. Laid new handle half on bench and installed switch and wiring harness (took about a minute). Matched up the half handle to o
