Had I known that one of my items was out of stock I wouldn't of ordered that item. Ended up buying a set of parts at Walmart online with 3 day free shipping for a 3rd of the price. It's difficult to cancel my order so now I have a spare kit and I was half tempted to just claim it missing so I wouldn't have to return it.
On the other hand this is the only website that I found that conveniently lists all parts and diagrams for a multitude of engines and the parts are quality so I will probably use this store for things I can afford to wait on being delivered.

No instructions were included with part. I used manual that came with DR brush mower and repair was easy. Removed exhaust pipe to get to the fuel pump. Removed a couple of nuts, loosened hose clamps and fuel pump was removed. New fuel pump went on without a hitch.

Replaced fuel filter and Fuel pump. Got fuel pressure to Carburetor but still would not run unless sprayed with starting fluid. Carb removed and soaked 24 hours in carb cleaner solved problem.
I had tried a few \"fixes\" suggested on the most popular online video platform, without success.
Surging was so bad that to stop the surging I had to put the throttle lever on choke position.

This was a very straightforward job.
I repainted the muffler with high temp paint while I had it off, so about half the time it took me to do the job involved sanding , painting and waiting for the muffler to dry.
Very simple repair...used pliers to loosen clamps on fuel filter, pulled off the old one, put on the new one. The fuel pump was easy, too. Just loosen the bolts on the old one, unclamp the 4 lines, pull pump off engine bracket, and reverse procedure to install new pump.
1. Removed the clamps on all hoses.
2. Disconnected the hoses.
3. Used a wrench to remove the nuts holding the heat shield to the mounting bracket.
4. Installed the new pump and the nuts holding the pump to the heat shield/mounting bracket.
5. Installed the new fuel filter and reconnected the hoses to the new pump.
... Read more 6. Moved the clamps to the hose ends to secure to the pump.
Removed muffler for easier access to fuel pump, removed the lines from the old pump and removed the pump. Installed the new pump and hooked up the lines. Remove the old fuel filter from the fuel line and installed the new one
