Perfect part and eay repair.
This is just what I needed to repair our Hamilton Beach coffee maker leak. The replacement was easy. No more coffee on the cabinet.

Perfect Fit
The part arrived fast and intact. Since it was new it took a couple of minutes to install the new one in. The part fits better than the original one. Our coffee maker is working better than original. We’re able to keep our 12 cup coffee maker which worked perfectly other than the gasket and saved money and unnecessary landfill. Can’t beat the price or quality.

Glad I found this
So glad I found this replacement washer for my brew station. No more coffee all over my counter. Easy to replace and fits perfectly and saved me at least $50 on a new coffee brewer.

$15 to repair a $50 coffee pot
Dollar wise it doesn't make sense to spend so much on this simple repair. This silicon washer will eventually fail and need to be replaced about once per year. The manufacturer should provide this part for the cost of sending a letter.
That said, I like the coffee pot and I do not like throwing away an easily repaired item. Use a screwdriver to pry out the screen in the tank, pull off the old washer, press on the new washer, snap the screen back in place and your good to go for about one year.
Maybe this washer should be sold in a three pack.

The 479502 Hamilton Beach Brew Station was leaking from the dispenser spout
The 479502 model has a plastic/metal \"strainer\" tacked in place by plastic \"welds\" over the dispenser spout. in previous models the o-ring was readily changeable by hand, with the o-ring being the only weak point in the system (except for the shoulders/pivot-point of the plug lever mechanism on older models - which has been improved w
... Read moreith the current model). if would seem that HB would rather sell pots than parts, so the o-ring was listed as non-replaceable. I can affirm that after popping out the strainer (which did not prevent the o-ring from getting build-up) that the o-ring for the older models is an exact fit for this current model 479502. the process to pull off the old o-ring and press on the new o-ring is the same as it was, once the strainer piece has been removed. you can remove and clean your o-ring, or even flip it over, but if you don\'t want coffee on the counter - this part is a PERFECT fit for model 479502 despite what the specs say.
Replaced gasket from cup fill valve. Just slipped old gasket off, put new one on.
Ran two cycles of cleaner through coffee maker an old brewer looks like new.
I easily removed the old seal and cleaned the \"holding tank\" thoroughly. Trying to fit the new, more rigid seal over the discharge port using my finger and thumb was difficult, but when I used the finely-tipped hemostat to hold the edge of the new seal, I was able to slip the ring on easily.
Removed the strainer screen. Held the valve open. Pulled old seal out. Installed new seal. The replacement seal appears to be better quality than the original. No leaks..
