The washer is fitted between the retaining snap ring and blade bolt, securing the lower blade guard. This item distributes even pressure over the surface and provides a solid grip. The washer is sold individually. A screwdriver and a wrench are often needed to make the proper removal and replacement. A hex key and a wrench are necessary in this repair.
