I simply replaced the old parts with new ones in the reverse order of their removal. I did have to refer to my owner\'s repair manual for the clutch set.
Removed the old and installed the new. Got the saw used. Was abused, had to adjust the carb etc. but not a big deal got new chain and bar cuts like a dream now with the proper tune at 8500 feet elevation. No tools required.
Removed clutch housing from chainsaw. Removed chainsaw chain and bar. Removed c-clip from clutch shaft and slid clutch/sprocket from shaft. Assembled the new parts onto chainsaw in reverse order, placed clutch housing onto saw and adjusted chain. Started saw and went to work. Very easy.
Bar replacement was simple; same process used to replace a worn chain which occurs readily. The replacement bar delivered was identical to the old chain bar and I am very pleased with my chain saw\'s new cutting performance.
